Why Use Vehicle Storage?

Many people simply don't have the space at home or work to keep their cars, boats, RVs, and other vehicles.

This is especially common for those living in apartments, condos, or other areas with limited parking.

Local regulations may also restrict outdoor vehicle parking on your property, depending on your area.

Our secure, convenient vehicle storage options provide a great solution in these situations.

How Does Our Vehicle Storage Work?

We offer several different vehicle storage options. Our most popular is our gated, outdoor parking spaces.

These spaces provide a cost-effective way to keep your vehicle safe and protected from the environment when not in use.

For an extra layer of coverage, we also have some covered parking spots with a roof overhead.

And for the highest level of protection, there are drive-up storage units that are large enough to park a vehicle inside.

Moore Storage regularly stores items from customers from:

Types of Vehicles We Store

Car Storage

Store a spare vehicle or a project car. We also have spaces to accommodate sedans, SUVs, trucks, and more.

Boat Storage

We mostly store small fishing boats for our boat storage customers. We have the space to keep your watercraft safe and protected when it's not in use.

Motorcycle Storage

Motorcycles, mopeds, and even side-by-sides fit nicely in our drive-up storage units. Some of our facilities even have dedicated indoor motorcycle parking for that added layer of security.

RV Storage

Storing your RV, camper, or travel trailer at Moore Storage is a breeze. We have spacious outdoor lots as well as some drive-up units large enough to accommodate these bigger vehicles.

Vehicle Storage FAQs

  • How do I prepare my vehicle for storage? Before storing your vehicle, be sure to give it a thorough cleaning, both inside and out. It's also important to maintain proper tire pressure, change the oil, disconnect the battery, and use a fuel stabilizer if storing long-term.
  • Can I work on my vehicle while it's in storage? For safety and liability reasons, we do not allow any vehicle maintenance or repairs to be done on-site. Our storage units are meant for parking and keeping your vehicle protected, not as workshops.
  • How often should I start my stored vehicle? It's a good idea to start and move your stored vehicle at least once a month. This helps circulate fluids, prevents flat spots on the tires, and keeps the battery charged.
  • Do I need insurance for my stored vehicle? Yes, you'll need to maintain active registration and insurance coverage for any vehicle stored with us. This is required by law and protects both you and our facility.
  • What security features does your storage facility have? Moore Storage takes security very seriously. Our fenced, gated lots have 24/7 video monitoring, and guest access is restricted to those with a unique passcode.
