  • Is my stuff insured in a storage unit? We have property insurance, but we do recommend you get renters insurance for your items.
  • How secure are your storage facilities? We offer multiple security features like 24/7 video surveillance, gated access, individual unit alarms, and on-site management.
  • Can I access my storage unit 24/7? Yes! We provide extended access with security codes.
  • What's the minimum rental period? We offer rent on a month-to-month basis, without contracts.
  • Do I need my own lock? We recommend you get your own lock for the best security, like high-security disc or cylinder locks.
  • Can I store a vehicle in your storage unit? Yes! Note that vehicles need current registration and insurance.
  • How do I protect my items from moisture? Use pallets or shelving to elevate items, employ moisture absorbers, and choose climate-controlled units when possible. Proper packing materials also help.
  • What happens if I miss a payment? We will cancel your service if you miss more than one payment in a row.
  • Can I run a business from a storage unit? Operating a business from a storage unit is prohibited, though you can store business inventory and equipment there.
  • Are there restrictions on when I can move in or out? We allow move-in during office hours, while move-out might be possible during extended access hours if you've cleared the account balance.
  • How much notice do I need to give before moving out? We kindly ask for anywhere from 15 to 30 days notice before vacating.
  • Can multiple people access my unit? You can authorize additional users, but they need to be registered with the facility and show proper identification.
  • What's the difference between indoor and drive-up units? Indoor units offer better climate protection and are typically accessible through hallways, while drive-up units allow direct vehicle access but may be more susceptible to weather.
  • How clean are your storage units kept? We regularly clean and maintain units between tenants, but you should inspect before renting and report any issues.
  • Can I modify the inside of my unit? We prohibit permanent modifications but allow temporary solutions like free-standing shelving units.
  • What happens if there's damage to my stored items? Check your rental agreement and insurance policy. Facility insurance typically covers damage from facility negligence but not natural disasters or theft.
  • Are there electrical outlets in your storage units? We don't have electrical outlets.
  • Can I store food in my unit? Perishable food items are prohibited.

  • Can I share a unit with someone else? Co-renting is possible, but all parties need to be on the lease and follow facility protocols.

  • Are there restrictions on commercial deliveries? We accept deliveries during business hours.

  • What happens if the facility changes ownership? Your lease transfers to the new owners, who must honor existing terms but may implement changes with proper notice.

  • How do I prepare appliances for storage? Clean thoroughly, drain all fluids, leave doors slightly open, and use appropriate covers or wrapping materials.
  • Can I store ammunition or firearms? No! Ammunition storage and firearms storage are prohibited.
  • What happens to abandoned units? After specified non-payment periods and proper notices, facilities can auction contents following state lien laws.
